Involves trained staff working alongside an occupational therapist (OT) to help implement OT treatment strategies and work toward rehabilitation goals. While the OT evaluates and develops treatment plans, the therapy assistant puts those plans into action. The goals will vary from client to client and could include things like organization, cooking, community outings or participation in leisure activity.
