Debbie Lessard has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1982, with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University and an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Concordia University (with a focus on Neuropsychology). She has worked in two different provinces, having started her career in Edmonton, Alberta and worked in a program for children with expressive and receptive language delays.
Throughout her work and travels, Debbie developed a keen interest in neurologically-based communication disorders. She worked at the Ottawa Children's Treatment Center before transitioning to the field of Traumatic Brain Injury, where she has been working for over 20 years.
When she is not working with her clients, you can find Debbie in her backyard digging and planting 🌿 something new or knocking down a wall somewhere in her house as she works on her latest renovation project.
