Krista is a Bilingual Occupational Therapist, registered with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Science, with honours in Human Kinetics and her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitative Sciences, in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa.
Krista has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2013 and has experience working in the community, in private clinical settings as well as in hospital. She has an extensive background in working with traumatic brain injuries and also has experience working with a multitude of other diagnoses (e.g., chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, mental health disorders etc.). She has completed training in Love Your Brain Yoga and Mindfulness and has experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through occupation. Krista recognizes the importance of using evidence-based practice to enable client-centered and meaningful occupational therapy goals.
Outside of her work, Krista enjoys spending time with her family and lives an active lifestyle. She is passionate about running 🏃♀️, canoeing, hiking, camping and being in nature 🌿.
