Nicole is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and subsequently completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University. Nicole has worked as an Occupational therapist for the last decade, including direct community clinical care and in management and education. Over the course of her career, she has worked with a variety of populations, including youth, adults, and older adults with neurological disorders, orthopaedic injuries, mental health issues, and complex chronic diseases. In addition to practicing as an Occupational therapist, Nicole has several years of experience working as a Rehabilitation Case Manager on catastrophic files within the automobile sector.
In her current role at Spark, Nicole uses her background in occupational therapy to supervise and direct the Case Management program. Nicole is a believer of always using a client-centered approach, is dedicated to continual learning, and is passionate about supporting her clients. In her spare time, Nicole loves to bake, read 📚, and be creative. During the summer, she loves spending time with friends and family at home or at the lake.
